One April, 1995 night, in a chat room on America Online, an idea was spawned to hike the Appalachian Trail tag team style using "cyberhikers" recruited online. would "fill the ranks" and launch one of the first AT Tag Team Relay Hikes organized totally online. The event was co-sponsered by AOL, Backpacker Magazine and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.

ME and ended on December 31, 1995 on Springer Mountain, GA. There were 60 teams in this hike. Team #29 was tasked with hiking the AT through Maryland from PenMar Park at the PA/MD border to Harper's Ferry, WV. The journal of this trip is elsewhere in this area.

We are always seeking new scenic adventures. Our adventures are mostly in , but not limited to, the states of PA, NY, NJ, MD, WV, VA and NC.  All are welcome to join us on our activities. The only criteria is that you have to enjoy the outdoors.
